Liverpool Food And Drink Awards Winners
People in their hundreds and led to the camp of the oven last night to celebrate the culinary talent of the city of Liverpool to food and Drink Festival Awards organized by The Great British Bake-Off Judge Paul Hollywood.
And the winner is ... Puschka (see here for our review).
The Liverpool Food and Drink Festival awards were the culmination of an intensive 10-day show and saw over 4000 people voted as restaurants, bars and producers competed to be named the best in town .
The public has voted 60 Hope Street as their restaurant of excellence while Lunya, College Lane, Liverpool won the European Restaurant preferred.
Owner Peter Kinsella said: "Winning last year has had a fantastic for us in many ways - to be called as one of the best in the city is something to be proud of. It is one of the only price actually voted by the public, and is one of the highest honors possible."
The Outstanding Customer Service Bem went to Brazil, in Hanover Street, while the favorite bar or award was presented to The Pub Hub Alehouse and Kitchen.
Most of the family restaurant went to Yo Sushi in Liverpool One, and favorite independent coffee or coffee was given coffee Bold Street. Sapporo Teppanyaki in Duke Street, Liverpool was voted international restaurants.
Managing Partner Sapporo Teppanyaki, Vince Margiotta, said: "These awards are extremely important to us as a company because it means our hard work and dedication was recognized by the public around the city.
"If people took the time to go online and vote is overwhelming, and they are solely responsible for the restaurants as we help to create an impressive foodie revolution in Liverpool.
